What to expect from your milestone session.
Milestone sessions are all about celebrating your child’s growth and personality during their first year and beyond. From sitter sessions (around 6–9 months) to first birthday cake smashes and every stage in between, these sessions are designed to highlight the little details you never want to forget.
With me as your Seattle and Edmonds area baby photographer, the process is simple. Once you reach out to book, we’ll secure your session date with a signed agreement and retainer, ensuring your spot is officially held on my calendar. Leading up to the session, we'll discuss what type of milestone session you would like and what that looks like for you. For attire, I'll give you access to my client closet for your little one or you can bring outfits from home. I’ll also share a helpful guide to ensure your little one feel comfortable, happy, and ready for photos.
When the day arrives, expect a relaxed, playful atmosphere where your child can shine. I’ll guide them gently through a mix of simple poses and candid moments, capturing everything from big smiles to curious expressions. Sessions can take place in my Edmonds home studio, in your home, or at an outdoor location in the Seattle area, depending on the season and your preference.
After your session, you’ll get a proofing gallery to choose your favorite images from. I'll then complete the final edits and you’ll receive a private online gallery filled with beautiful milestone portraits that celebrate this special stage of your child’s life.

A first birthday session that includes traditional portraits of your little.. Parents may choose a simple setup, or upgrade to a themed session or cake smash. Session takes place in my Edmonds studio.
These sessions focus on babies who are beginning to lift their heads during tummy time and becoming more aware of the world around them. This stage is ideal for documenting early smiles and growing facial expressions.
Perfect for babies who can sit independently but aren't yet on the move.. This session focuses on documenting your baby's appearance and personality while they still have all their baby rolls..
This session is great for babies who are crawling, pulling up, or beginning to explore independently. These sessions document a stage that is often missed between sitting and walking.

Retainer is 50% of invoice to book this session.
Remaining 50% is due once session date is finalized after babies arrival.

Remaining balance will be split into four equal payments of 15% Each. payment is due 3 days before maternity photography session, once the newborn photography session date is finalized after baby's arrival, 3 days before each milestone session.
Session Duration
Maternity photography session is 1.5 hours.
Newborn photography session will be between 2 and 3 hours long. We will not be shooting the whole time. Pauses will be needed for diapering and feeding.
Each milestone session is 1 hour.
